IEWC Annual Fundraiser for CTK collected - $3,581 and Huge Donation of Much Needed Clothes - Thank You

 

     On December 14th the IEWC had their annual fundraiser for Clothes To Kids at Carlouel Yacht Club.  The ladies continued their support and generosity towards this amazing local organization.  The club donated a huge amount of new and gently used clothing that will greatly help the inventory and fill the clothing racks.  Additionally, they donated a total of $3,100. to purchase needed clothing and shoes.  The $3,581 will be used to clothe 55 children with a full week of school clothing and shoes for FREE.  Many thanks to these generous ladies.

IEWC Annual Fundraiser for Clothes To Kids (CTK)

  The Island Estates Women's Club is proud to support Clothes To Kids, a local non-profit that provides a complete school wardrobe to low-income or crisis school-age children Pre K- 4th to 12th grade for FREE.  This year's Fundraiser  is Wednesday,  December 12th at Carlouel Yacht Club.  We collect new clothes, gently used clothes, shoes and cash to buy needed clothes.  

      More than half of the kids in Pinellas and Hillsborough qualify to shop at CTK. These families have a hard time providing the basic necessities for kids to attend school.  At CTK we help with clothes!  Each child who shops at Clothes To Kids receives a wardrobe - 5 new pairs of socks, 5 new pairs of underwear, 5 tops, 4 bottoms, optional dress, pair of shoes and a jacket in season all FREE.
